I’m Jennifer Carter, and I’d love to welcome you to my little corner of the world in Cherokee County. I’m a wife, mom, and freelance writer who has finally settled down in Woodstock, Georgia. Prior to this, I traveled the world over as an Army “brat,” served an enlistment in the United States Air Force, and graduated from the University of Georgia. It was at UGA where I took just one look at my Georgia boy and felt roots shoot forth from my feet. I’m now so very thankful to call North Georgia my home, and I’m hoping to share some of that joy with you. Foremostly, I’m a great fan of the “independents”–thinkers, music, spirits, and businesses, and you’re likely to find a lot of these local treasures on my pages! I know that together we can discover the people, places, things, and ideas that make Cherokee County such a great place to live!
